Callwave TrialI've downloaded and been playing with the Callwave trial this week, its a great little tool that among other things lets you: You can download the free trial by clicking the coupon below: Callwave is a free cellular voice mail replacement service, and now includes an automated speech to text service: If someone leaves you a voicemail on your normal number, it can SMS or email you a transcription. It also includes gadgets you can download for Yahoo and Google which allow you to send free SMS messages from your homepage. You simply download callwave, register, then confirm your phone number. After that you can send messages online from your Google/Yahoo homepage, or through Callwave. It is an interesting move in to the future for VoIP technology, where traditional switched cellular networks are becoming replaced by routed IP networks. Callwave represents a move in the direction of even more data transmission being moved over from the telephone networks to the uncontrollable but cheaper IP networks.
