London today:
The Office for National Statistics has today announced that the number of indices which are at the highest level since records began is now at the highest level since records began.
A spokesman for the ONS said “Its been a bit busy here this year with all the weather, floods, Pete Dohery and everything, but we just put that down to Sandra being off on maternity leave, but when we totalled it all up, we found that we’d beaten all our previous records”

The ONS has now recruited more staff to cope with the increased workload. It now employs the highest number of staff since the department started.
