ABC host George Stephanopoulos, a one-time aide to President Clinton, opened up the gates with a question to lead those who fear Obama's jet rock rise to the front of the pack to sniping.
"Is Barack Obama ready to be president, experienced enough to be president?"
"I hope people will choose to be for me based on my experience, my qualifications and my plan for the future as to what I will do as president ... You don't have to be against anybody. ... You can choose who you're for" in an attempt to appeal to the whole sway of democratic voters, and avoid aggresively targetting Obama.
She did however, defend her 2005 comments on not seeing the possibility of nuclear weapons against Iran, criticizing Obama for giving answers to hypothetical situations.
