Lindsay Lohan has been arrested in America on suspicion of drunk driving, Beverley hills police have said.
The twenty-year-old was treated in hospital for minor injuries after she lost control of her Mercedes and hitting the kerb.
A small amount of an illegal substance, thought to be cocaine, was also found in the car during a search.
The actress, who left a rehabilitation center in January, was arrested but wasnt held in custody, instead being transferred to hospital.
Two other people were also in Lohan's car, but no other vehicles.
Lohan has starred in films such as Mean Girls and The Parent Trap admitted in December that she was a member of Alcoholics-Anonymous.
Tabloid newspapers have been full of her drunken exits from night clubs. In uly Mogran Creek Productions chief executive James Robinson sent her a letter rebuking her for constantly arriving later on the set for Georgia Rule, blaming heavy partying.
