A worrying video of David Hasslehoff in a relapse of his alcohol addiction, filmed by his daughter Tayloy-Ann-Hoff, has been released by his ex-wife. UNews has uploaded this to YouTube. (Watch).

The video is painful to watch for fans of the Hoff.

In a statement released by his attorneys, Hasselhoff said, “I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue.

Unfortunately, I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my children, who were concerned for my well-being, there was a tape made when I had a relapse to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it, and I am back on my game. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have. I thank God for the love and concern from my children. ”

The video shows Hoff drunk in his Las Vegas home. "Tell me you are going to stop, tell me you are going to stop," she says.
Eventually, Hasselhoff answers with a mumbled, "Yep? Yes? Mmmhmm..".

It isn't the first time he has got into trouble through his drinking, past problems reportedly including starting fights at Wimbledon and wetting himself at Heathrow airport.
To support his ex-wifes restraining order claim against Hasselhoff, court papers have been released, accusing David Hasselhoff of threatening to drive his car through her house snatching all of her jewelry in February; while Bach also claims that in the past, Hasselhoff broke her nose while calling her a "whore", "cunt", "bitch", "slut" and "drug addict" in front of their children.

The video was taken by David Hasselhoff's oldest daughter Taylor as an intervention to try and get her father to confront his alcohol problems. Hopefully it will help him.
