A boot camp near Beijing has opened to help China in the battle against internet addiction; a disorder that China says is afflicting millions of their youth. This treatment center, called the Internet Addiction Treatment Center (IATC), uses military drills and therapy to help the children that are addicted to online games, cybersex, chats and Internet pornography.
Li Yanlin, a university student who saw his grades drop after he became addicted to online games, said, “I gradually became obsessed.” After several weeks at the treatment center Yanlin said that he has “recognized the falseness of online gaming.”

Villagers at a wedding in eastern India decided the groom had arrived too drunk to get married, and so the bride married the groom's more sober brother instead, police said on Monday.
"The groom was drunk and had reportedly misbehaved with guests when the bride's family and local villagers chased him away," Madho Singh, a senior police officer told Reuters after Sunday's marriage in a village in Bihar state's Arwal district.
The younger brother readily agreed to take the groom's place beside the teenage bride at her family's invitation, witnesses said.
"The groom apologised for his behaviour, but has been crying that word will spread and he will never get a bride again," Singh said by phone.

A new theme park gives thrill-seekers the chance to play at being desperate Mexicans trying to illegally cross the border to the US.
Visitors to the Parque EcoAlberto are put in the position of workers struggling to escape across the Mexican border.
They must hike through undergrowth, dash down steep hills and across rivers, and slip under barbed-wire fences.

The former editor of an adult magazine has claimed he was axed by porn baron Paul Raymond for not putting sexy enough models on the front cover.
